LIDOSOM is a member of Inter-Agency PSEA, on 29-30-31 August 2022, our protection department staff participated PSEA Training which was held in Mogdishu at Zebra Room of IC Camp.
In June and in July 2022 the Somalia UNCT and HCT have endorsed the Country PSEA Action Plan and the SEA Inter-Agency Reporting SOPs.
The overall aim of the course was to equip a high number of Somalia PSEA Focal Points to effectively support the PSEA activities at country level following good practice and defined roles and responsibilities with a special focus on reporting SEA complaints as per SEA Reporting SOPs endorsed in June and   July 2022.
The PSEA Focal Points Learning Course was conducted face to face from 29 to 31 August 2022 in Mogadishu IC Camp.
The trainings hosted in total 28 participants against 35 invited and was including staff from the UN Agencies, INGOs and NNGOs. (Annex 1: Participants list).
The Learning Course was highly participant-led and interactive, bringing together a diverse audience from different backgrounds.
All participants received, at the end of the training, a Participation Certificate and a USB Flash disk containing all the training material.
The training was possible due to the generous financial contribution of the Somalia UN   Integrated Office and was opened by the DSRSG/RC/HC Mr. Adam Abdelmoula. The UNFPA Deputy Representative Mr. Victor Valdivieso also present, pronounced an allocution.

RAPID WASH ASSESSMENT

The rapid WASH need assessment has been conducted by Somali Livelihood Initiative and Disability Organization (LIDOSOM). The assessment was conducted in the sequence of protracted and torrential rain that was
