BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Somali Livelihood Initiative and Disability Organization (LIDOSOM) is run by two organizational bodies.

Board of Directors: includes members representing the various stakeholders of the organization, the Chair of the board is a female with disability and the consists of seven member whereby 3 are female while 4 are male. They are in charge of providing the strategic leadership of the organization.

Executive body: headed by the executive director, this body comprises of the heads of the various functions of the organization including admin and finance, programs, public relations, legal advisor, and advocacy.

The CEO is answerable to the Board of Directors. The CEO oversees the day-to-day running of LIDOSOM. Under the CEO, there are program managers, Administration and finance officer, public relations officer, and advocacy and lobbying officer. Under the program manager, there are project officers running different programs including Nutrition and Food security, Security and Protection, and Disability and protection programs.
