On 29th March, Somali Livelihood Initiative and Disability Organization (LIDOSOM) provided in-kind food distribution for the vulnerable members of the community who were drastically affected by the drought in Sahan and Burijaabo villages under Luuq district. Each household was given a ration consisting of flour, rice, dates and oil. LIDOSOM organization is funded by Mama Fantoy Foundation which is based in Canada and always works to help the poor people living in Somalia. The LIDOSOM organization has already carried out many relief activities with the support of the Mama Fantoy Foundation in construction of water tanks, latrines and community halls. In addition to this, the organization has done water trucking for villages under Luuq and Baled-Haawo districts.
