The rapid WASH need assessment has been conducted by Somali Livelihood Initiative and Disability Organization (LIDOSOM). The assessment was conducted in the sequence of protracted and torrential rain that was raining on over one week in Luuq district causing the river Jubba to burst by flooding to the residential areas in the district including IDP sites and resulted the displacement of thousands of households and evacuated to higher areas. The floods affected the host communities, IDPs settlement, school, agro-pastoral and the town has been divided into two which restricted the movement of people and transportation which deteriorated the living condition of people.
